Painted Views Ranch 2018 Art Workshops
Payment Methods
Make check payable to Kirk Witmer and mail to:
24229 Stillman Valley Road, Florence, TX 76527

The easiest and most economical way to pay for your workshop is to mail a check.
Please remember to include your email address with your check,
so that we can confirm receipt and send more information when your class reaches minimum.

  • If you're paying close to the due date, it would be a good idea to email to let us know your payment is on its way.
  • For classes where a minimum number of students is specified but there are not enough students, all payments made will be refunded in full, less any PayPal fees.
  • We can accept payment by credit card or PayPal, but you need to email us at paintedviewsranch@gmail.com so that we can send you an invoice that will include an additional charge to cover the PayPal and administrative fees. We're sorry about the up charge, but we are working on very narrow margins to make classes as affordable as possible, and as such we cannot absorb PayPal fees.
  • Once a class reaches the minimum number of students, no refunds will be given unless the class is full and there is someone on a waiting list to take your place.
  • If you have any questions, here's an email link for your convenience: paintedviewsranch@gmail.com

Instructor's Description:
"Some teach to fill buckets. I teach to light fires! Yes, we will give appropriate time to the various components used to construct a landscape painting. We will cover the basics of composition, design, color, values, edge treatment, etc.. But, that is merely a jumping off point. I'll introduce participants to some of the more elusive concepts that often make the difference between a painting and a work of art! My goals as an instructor are to simplify the basics of creating a plein air painting, give participants the tools needed to imbue a piece with emotion, and keep each painter excited about our shared passion, painting the landscape from life!"
